The DRIVE Fuel your Future Trailer will be making its debut at our conference!
The NCTAF was awarded a $5 million grant from the NC State Fiscal Recovery Funds to address the truck driver shortage in NC. Through this grant, the NCTAF was able to purchase the DRIVE Trailer to tour the state, visit colleges, career events, fairs and more to increase awareness of our industry's impact in our state and the great jobs that are available. The NCTAF is also partnering with the NCCCS, giving $2 million to 9 different colleges that represent 14 different community colleges in NC. This grant will be used to help support their CDL programs, helping to break down barriers for students to enroll, persist and complete their coursework.
